Water-electric (hybrid) radiators type Convector GPE i GCE
The copper-aluminium GPE and GCE convector radiators
combine functionalities of a central-heating water radiator
with that of electric heating.
|
These radiators in their parameters and properties of the
water part and in thermal and hydraulic characteristics,
correspond with central-heating GP and GC series water
radiators, while their electric part corresponds to the GE
radiators.
|
|
Water-electric radiators are recommended for the following applications:
Additional heating off the heating season for all the rooms,
without the necessity of starting the entire central heating installation and
without the necessity of finding space for storing the heaters after their use,
Especially recommended for hotels and boarding houses, as they
allow extending the summer rest season; they may be used for heating
selected rooms only, which is important when only some of them are occupied,
Heating bathrooms: use of water-electric radiators allows the choice
of selecting the heat vehicle depending on the economic conditions
(electricity for the night tariff or other utilities),
In central installations with large-size boiler houses (making the user
independent of the administration for decisions on starting the heating season).

Layout of heating elements
1. temperature sensor
2. coil pipe
3. electric heating element
Electric heating elements are placed in the radiator body and heat air directly.
This solution makes the radiator heating the room immediately after switching it on,
without heating water in the coil pipe - thus ensuring savings in power consumption.
